St Andrews Day

Happy St Andrews Day... well in an hour and a half.

Is anyone doing anything for it or marking it? I've long thought now that all the patron saint days of Britain - George, Andrew, Patrick and David - should be made national public holidays across the entire country and marked with flags. Much in the same way St Patricks Day is.

As always I just mark it by flying the St Andrews Saltire (above) on my flagpole for a few days in place of the Union flag.
