Car mounts

Not sure if this is in the right place


Ok, so now i have a car, I would like to have a dash cam, but I would like to use my camcorder as one.

Does anyone have any recommendations on any car mounts that i could get?

Ones that if there stuck to the windscreen the camera can still face forwards. or for any that can be stuck to a dash

surely using a camcorder isn't a good idea
especially when you can purchase actual dash cams for like 30quid?

Oh what I saw the title and thought you were gonna mount a car on something to keep it as a trophy

But yeah wouldn't something that's actually made for that purpose be better than a clunky modified camcorder? If not then a Gorillapod should do the trick since the whole point of them is to give you whatever angle and direction you want

Yes there probably is, but I already have a camcorder so I wanted a mount for my dash which would be cheaper

Rearview mirror I'd guess, or you could put a normal mount on the window/dashboard and attach the gorillapod to that
