Have you ever quit a job or been fired from a job?

If so, why?

I quit my job last July ready for Uni which I started in September!

Was the best day ever!

I've resigned from two jobs to start my new job here - was awful actually handing in notice and stuff I felt so guilty!!

Left my first job at sainsburys, then got fired at mcdonalds because I refused to show up

I didn't have to work my notice at sainsburys though because I cried to HR and they were like dw dw u can go xxxx

Why not just quit McDonalds rather than refuse to show up? :S

because I was young and stupid and didn't want to tell them cos they were all horrible people and I thought they'd shout at me and stuff

Well I'd never have to see them again so it wouldn't concern me :p
Looming back yh I should've said/sent them a letter or something but I hated it so much I couldn't bear the thought of having anything to do with them anymore

I have never been fired but I have quit from the usual super market job to start working full time on my career path.
