Ah, wonderful, my local.

A loud bang has been heard from inside the evacuated Intu Victoria Centre, where the Army bomb disposal experts are currently working.

The centre has been on lock-down since just before 11.30am on Sunday and hundreds of shoppers were evacuated following the discovery of suspicious suitcases.

A loud bang was heard from within the centre at around 3.20pm, following shouts from the Army experts inside.

Although shoppers were asked to leave the centre, residents had contacted the Post to say they were told not to leave their apartments.
