US Inauguration 2016

In 24 hours and half an hour to be precise (5:00pm GMT), the 45th President of the United States of America will place his hand on two Bibles and swear an oath to the US constitution and become the most powerful man in the world.

An Inauguration is a republican version of a Coronation.

Less than 24 hours left in office for the worst President in modern American history.

It still doesn't seem real that Donald J. Trump, host of the Apprentice, is to become President though. Surreal.

Anyone watching? I'll likely watch the handover at 5pm onwards.

Okay so I'm not American and don't know much about presidents but unless you hate healthcare and equality he seems pretty good. Bonus points if you love gun violence. Anyways I won't be watching it as I'm not American and I want nothing to do with an orange man.

If Biden had run, I would have been rooting for him. But Trump was the better choice out of the final two main candidates. Sadly I am travelling in India so will miss the inauguration.

I think Trump will surprise many of his haters and do well. Yes he speaks out a lot unlike past presidents but he is a businessman, and a good one, and he is not stupid. He is not looking at just four years, he is looking at eight so he knows he needs to do well and work his staff like dogs to ensure people are happy enough to re-elect him/
