Before opening the thread I thought this was going to be a Monsters Inc. spin off

I think it looks pretty good though, I had goosebumps at one point! And with Tom Hanks it should be a good watch, especially after his performance in Captain Phillips which holds a similar tone

sorry for bump, just wondering if anyone has watched it? I usually go for rubbish romantic films but decided to watch this this evening. I was pleasantly surprised and teared up a few times, I was really empathetic towards how everyone must have felt.. to think you were possibly going to die and surviving it, just wow really liked the movie and how it was done

Agreed, pretty decent job of re-making the accident. Also can't beat a bit of Tom Hanks tbh

When I watched it, it looked pretty good I had goosebumps and was on the verge of tearing up at one point! Tom Hanks is the best pick for his role.
