Do you trust your government to protect you?

Do you think that your government would do a fine job in protecting you? For instance, nuke is fired towards your nation. Do you think they'd do a good job in taking the nuke down?

I think that my government (USA) would do a great job in protecting me. With the technology we have today to take this stuff down, drones, military jets, SAM missiles, even military satellites, I think we'd be safe.

The government in Australia are too busy taking digs at the opposition and it's so so petty. They do protect us and aren't doing a terrible job but the shit they come out with sometimes is laughable.
