I don't think I've even been so excited for a horror movie.

Its R-Rated, and the book is amazing and a classic.

Most horror movies that are remakes and/or aren't serious in terms of lore and content generally kill the movie with stupid depictions of teenagers and young adults. This remake fits both categories, and will most likely be stupid(take Friday the 13th's remake as an example).

If you want a horror movie of decent quality that's new, Light's Out is really good. It's original, good acting, real scares.

My mom and I have seen plenty of scary movies to know.

Im sure you and your mother know better then Stephen King then? He's already said this is the most perfect adaptation of his work. Far better than the tv-mini series from years back with Tim Curry. This is already proven to follow the source material a lot better than the TV series.

This is also pretty serious in terms of lore when following the book narrative. The whole book is from the loser gangs POV and so will the film.

Well, I am seeing it anyways because there aren't many better horror movies out now. Hopefully it's a serious remake that I'll enjoy. Just keep in mind that a decent scary movie needs more than just jump scares.

I'm looking forward to seeing it, although I didn't find the trailer as scary as people are making it out to be.

I can't wait to see it. I loved the original film, so I have high hopes for this one!
