Really excited for this! My bf works with Marvel so any new Marvel films are just super excitement in our house. Plus baby groot is flipping adorable!

I just watched Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time. I find Marvel films to be rather bland so I didn't expect to like it, but it was a lot of fun. I expect the sequel will be more of the same, but Baby Groot has the potential to be incredibly irritating. I'm already sick of him from the marketing alone.

Baby Groot was less central than I expected, which was pleasing, but the plot and the villain lagged behind the first movie. It's just not as tightly knit and well-rounded as before. Yondu is great, though. I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!
