    Uh oh. Great timing for the Tories.

    If you'll recall, this was the seat the Conservatives poured resources into to stop Nigel Farage becoming an MP.

    What exactly happens with that result then as it's not like they're going to remove him from South Thanet, so do they just get fined?

    Parliament has been dissolved now so the result can't be annulled. He could face fines or prison I guess depending on the outcome of trial. He's standing as MP again for the seat so could lead to resignation + by-election *if* found guilty.
