Default What age did you move out?

If you haven't yet, any reason why? Did you move in by yourself or with friends?

I moved out at 26, into a house with my friend. Her previously housemate/friend left cause they'd fallen out so I should have taken that as a sign of what was to come really.

Moved out at 16 to live with my partner. Our original plan was to live at my house until he found a job as he had just moved from England but my mothers ex partner was possessive, psychotic and jealous and wouldn't allow it, so we moved into a flat of our own.

    I haven't yet (I'm 23).

I've never had the reason to apart from to be independent. I didn't go to university to experience it, plus I would rather move out with someone and be certain about it (if that makes sense). I was with my ex for nearly 3 years on and off, and I always told him I didn't want to move out/move in with him; I sort of think I just knew he was wrong for me and it would never happen!

However, with my boyfriend now, I could see myself moving out and we've been talking about it, we just want to make sure we save first and are ready etc. as it's a big commitment. I've never lived anywhere apart from with my parents, and since he was 19 he's lived on his own pretty much (not by choice I might add), he did have a room mate a few years ago, but he got a girlfriend and just moved out, left all his stuff and didn't tell my boyfriend about it lmao.
