I wanted to share with everyone the picture of my bookshelf because mmmm it's so satisfying now
I'm trying out the whole tidy house tidy mind mindset thing. I love organising and I love when things ARE organised it just usually takes me so long and I procrastinate for months
but I love rainbows and I love books and this is just pleasing every time I look at it

Here are my shelves! I actually got a new bookshelf at the weekend (the smaller one) so they’re not fully reshuffled how I’d like and a few books are out of place but they’ll do!
Smaller shelf is TBR and my faves, larger shelf is just the rest. (And a really gross bottom shelf full of crap hidden by the chair)

You'll love my mums old house Laura. She sold it now so this is the estate agents picture, as although I have pictures of the house etc... I'm not a book worm so never took a picture of the library lol.
The bookshelf was custom build for this room, it wraps around the whole room, and my mum was the only one to ever sit on those chairs lol.
In fact you might even love her new house, it's more of an office/library now, but same applies, still organised.

I'm in Spain now and my bookshelf is back home, but it's a black bookshelf and it's full + organised.
No ornaments other than a vintage toy till on the top and an oil lamp.
