What was your college experience like?

I partied a bit in college, at least after my freshman year. met some really cool people
who got me to come out of my shell and become more outgoing and loose

best years of my life, partied way too hard all the way through but have no regrets really as i still got alright grades etc... would recommend to anyone

I only really went to college because I wasn't ready for the real world yet, still felt like a kid and college was a way for me to delay the adulthood, as it was the same sort of situation I've been in all my life.. I.E attend classes and somewhat learn things.

I never really started going clubbing until I was about 23-24... Which for people in the UK is laaate since we can start clubbing at 18.
So no I didn't really party in college, but I think college over in the UK is a lot difference to college in the US haha.

Once I started coming out of my shell, I partied a lot. I always had really good grades until my last year. I'd probably go back and change small things about my college experience, but I don't think it was that bad.

I started off not going to any parties or nights out and just focused on settling in but as I made a few more friends I went out a little more as I was a bit more relaxed with the new environment

I had a great college experience, tbh.

I didn't party a lot at all. I didn't even really start drinking until I was 21, so I only went out to bars and clubs like the last 6 months of college. I joined a sorority while I was enrolled, and I made so many amazing friends, and it was an overall great experience for me. I also ended up with a lot of job opportunities because of my connection to the sorority, so I'm glad I got to be a part of something like that.

Mine has definitely had its ups and downs. I'd say socially it was a great experience. Met some awesome friends, had some great experiences (even got to travel out of it)

Academically/Professionally it has been a time. Had a really crummy on-campus job for a while that ultimately ended in a lot of gaslighting from my employers/supervisors.

Also had some issues in my 3rd and 4th year where they cancelled a bunch of required courses in my department so currently need to sort all of that out :grimmace:

But overall 10/10 don't regret it for a second!

i stayed in my school's sixth form instead of going to college.

decided to stay at school because i'd never wanted to leave there, and glad i did. sixthy wasn't as good as school but was pretty similar.

university was a let down. best years of my life were the last years of school, year 10 and 11 (age 14 to 16)

I'm currently in my 3rd year (technically still considered a 2nd year here in the US). I'm currently attending a community college, so the population of students are from a diverse background. Since I'm transferring schools my grades have been my priority. The group of girls I've met will definitely be at my future wedding when the time comes. I learned a lot from my peers in their late 20s which has helped me with my current path. Since I'm the youngest and my peers are older (with families or working) we didn't party but we did have fun study groups with 16 people at times.
