The Reform councils cite both flags as symbols of unity and inclusion, and have said that they will not be taken down.

A Reform UK spokesman described the move as "shameful".

A leaked internal message has revealed Birmingham City Council's apprehension about removing Palestinian flags without law enforcement assistance.

Well I have flown the Union Jack (and on patron saint weeks the English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish crosses) from my flagpole for years so it is nice to see it starting to catch on. It's catching on of course off the back of the illegal immigrant protests that are spreading, where single men who've entered the country illegally are placed in hotels at the expense of the taxpayer, and then go and hang around childrens parks and schools. Anyone who knows about third world cultures will know exactly why.

Funnily enough two St George's Crosses have appeared on the main street near my house on two lamp posts.

    Thoughts?

    A quick anecdote too.

I went around to my friends house two nights ago, now he and all of his friends have always been Labour but more in the tribal sense. That's my local area in a nutshell. Anywho, politics came up (I didn't bring it up) and I sat back and listened to it unfold, and was hearing huge anti-immigration sentiment being expressed which took me aback as these guys hadn't really spoken about it like that before. Then I was being quizzed on Reform and Farage becoming the government, but in a positive way from them.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I am getting strong stirrings of 2016 all over again.

Don't have anything that intelligent to add if I'm honest, but think we should be proud of our flag and really don't understand the issue of it being flown.

The USA is full of legal immigrants but they have always still remained proud of their country's flag - why can't we be the same?

Spreading to Wales and Scotland too.

Worth noting too how the twelve councils now controlled by Reform have brought in new flag rules, meaning the only flags flown from council property are the British, English/Scottish/Welsh/Northern Irish, Commonwealth and Royal Standards. The way it should be.
