So, do you have any Christmas traditions?

For me, we usually had my Nan and Grandad over from my mum's side... but he died in 2020 and she passed away this year in January, and I knew Christmas 2024 was going to be her last given her decline with dementia so it was nice to enjoy it. It'll feel a bit empty this year without either there, although my baby niece is now living in Britain again so in a way we've gained one back.

Other traditions... often go the pub around 27th to 29th with friends, just in the midst of organsing that this year. I may be in Mexico City over New Year as my friend who is a pilot has asked as he can possibly get hold of cheap flights - we'll see.
