If i Start Desert Treasure I can playt mini game to get ghostly ropes and will i be able to unlock The level 70 magic or do i have to finsh the quest

Well, all I can say is, my friend got the ghoustly robes, and his mage is only 55.

I don't think he completed all of D.T. becuase he died.

To get the ghost robes u only need to do the part of the quest that gets you the ring of visibility then you can do the mini quest =)

and for the ancient magic you have to actually complete the whole quest

Just start the quest, take all the items needed to make the mirrors to eblis then talk to Rasool the merchant, fetch the cross he asks for and he'll give you the ring. Then all you need is the ring + a ghostspeak amulate to collect the robes.
