Hello i been recommended to go on Runescape so i just signed up and stuff and then i clicked the section for new members and the java loader comes up and i was waiting for like 7 minutes and it won't load.
Do i need to download java or something.

Well i got to the screen bit where it asks for you to put in your password and name and then i got in and it stopped loading.
I have java aswell, so i haven't a clue where to go, it's so confusing.

Maybe you're using high detail and you're pc can only take low detail?
