If it has been posted before i'm sorry but news is that the date which the game is due has been changed three times so far. It was ment to be released 19th October 2004, then changed to 26th October 2004 and I have also heard it's out 29th Octobe 2004, no date has been specificaly given yet I will keep you updated with that. Also I have taken the liberty to get this.
The backround of the game (i.e. the storyline is):

Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.

Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.

On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.

This does sound intense, I will try and get a few screenies of the game for you all

Oh my word, I am soooooo excited, I have had Gta 3 on Ps2, Gta : Vice City, and now I am going to get Gta : San Andreas

. I'm pre-ordering it from a game site so I get it the first day it comes out :8

And gamble in the casino :8

Yes but make sure you pre-order it from a site which is very reliable and safe, why not try the Special Reserve website or even the offical Rockstar Games website as they are both reliable sources.
