Why would people return to trade when things are more expensive than before?

Because people that own expensive rares will be able to make a profit, it swings both ways.
Either way, a drastic change in the market will certainly bring increased user interest as it has done before.

But there's no trading at the moment, and once all illegal credits have been removed, then prices *should* return to normal.
