I think this forum is slightly too emo obsessed/charged.

Sure, loads of people love "emo" music. I do too, some of it.
Sure, loads of people like to dress like that. I do too, sometimes.

    Big deal.

It's just a label though. I don't think anyone should be labeled, ultimately.
All of a sudden it's like a competition, "I am more emo than you. :|"
Sheesh, maybe for once try to befriend these people, they have the same interests as you, no? Instead of making it into a competition of who fits a general stereotype more than the other.

And what the hell is 'posers' all about, isn't that just a way of one "emo" undermining another "emo". Hey, if they want to dress like that and listen to that and do that, they can, and if they're just doing it to fit in, they can. Who're you to say they can't, and give them yet another label for that?

    Emo stands for Emotive Hardcore.
It used to be about what kind of music you listened to.
Now its turned into a fashion statement...
    Unforunatly.
Im admitting there's loads of posers.
And all you guys who hate me can say im a poser.
    but im not

They stole it from the BBallers I tells ya! Converse were originally a basketball trainer, but the posers turned them into an 'emo/poser' fashion sadly

    Emo...
Emo fashion, emo music, or emo trend?
Emo music is emotional music. People singing about emotional things. Simple.
Emo fashion... well, you should know that by now. Everyone's wearing it. o_o; (Yeah, emo fashion includes Converse.)
Emo trend. These are the people who make fun of people slitting their wrists. Really not funny anymore. (Was it ever?)

Who said if someone says "I'm emo" they're a poser? I forget. If I say "I'm normal." does it make me a poser normal? Is the difference between an emo poser and a "real emo" the fashion, or saying you're emo?
    Yeahh.

Its just that nowdays, theres two sides to an emo (True Emo) and (Emo Poser).
One of which does everything to be an Emo, then rambles on about something else.
Like proporclone said, this forum is Emo obsessed, it driving me nuts.
And anyway, why should people catagorise themselves? they are who they are ( that was a message to everyone )
