I cant play games on my pc HELP

hi, i re-installed my windows and now when i try to install a game an erro message pops out saying that i dont have sound card or video controller also all my games worked be4 i re-installed the windows anyone have any advice?

1) Did you install Windows XP? If you did you have to remember that not all games were fitted woth the properties that runs with Windows XP's uptated system
2) You gotta remember Windows ****s.
