Hmm This thread is interesting, One thing is that i hate the word 'Noob' with passion. as to be honest everyones new to things and so why should we judge others. But if i had to use it i would actually reserve it for scammers hence "Most everyone agrees that it means someone that acts stupid" is the action of a scammer. Im saying there stupid, maybe not in mind but in the action.
Some people do feel it worth stealing a measly few credits, thats how petty life has become.

I would also stay where does one define the 'your a stupid person' barrier to someone who actually made an honest mistake. Maybe someone did something like accidently download a keylogger from a friend who they thought to be trusted (Believe me this happens.), do they want to be told there stupid for making a mistake? not particularly.

I also wonder why one wants to evoke capitalism into habbo? Im not much of a marxist not wanting vast segregation between the masses. But then again hey thats a personal point of view.

he said there anrt any real hackers on habbo as real hackers woulnt be stupid enogh to try hack it. You imly a hacker has tryed to hacvke the habbo servers, athogh as in X's orignal post, hacker is what "idots" call the common scammers. Scammers arent noobs, there uslay very exsparced players, the only rsik is being baned from the holtel so many do it becuse its so easy.

Yes evryone is a noob at one point, im a noob at php, im leanring it? its not an isnult. A scammer is not a noobm as if they can scam there unlikly to be new to teh hotel.
Evryoen starts as a noob, its not a bad thing, if someone calls you a noob and you are, hwo can that be offencive? its just the ovios :/

You say its not an insult. But it is. I have seen it used nearly everyday by someone in order to offend someone else. People hold onto the fact that they dont find it insultive as replacement that its ok to use it. I know people who get offended by it, and jsut because there new to the hotel why should they be ok with it because its the 'obvious'

I think that the term 'Noob' if used should not just apply to newer members. I mean it may be derived from the word new, But as people class it as the stupid actions of a person then a scammer easily falls in there.

2. Without reason or common sense.

Scammers & Hackers are NOT stupid in the sense of the 1st definition, as they have an indepth knowledge of the hotel and how it works, as highlighted by X in one of his posts.
What X is calling scammers & hackers is the 2nd definition of stupid.

I would say though they lack thought in how they actions offend others. But that is more a personality trait then anything else. I fully agree scammers fit the 2nd definition.

Most scammers arent stupid in ether ways, if they were to dumb or were noobs they woulnt be able to scam, and the only reason most scams work is becuse as x said, some habbos are pretty stupid, if you goive oyt your password its your falt, your told at least 80 times your not supposed to by habbo, wich does show most habbos must be stupid, as to most people not giving out your password would fall under common sences.
Most scammers scam for fun, rather for the furi they may get, if your stupid enogh to give out a pasword to someone on habbo you real do deserve to have your furni taken, theres no other explinition for goving away your password than blatent stupidity

Uh, People deserve to if there that stupid? How harsh is that. No one deserves to be scammed. Someone made a mistake typed there pass in, so we justify the fact the scammers are allowed to take it?
Why dont we just say that scammers of lovely smiley people..and thye just take what they rightly deserve.. Wrong they take for fun? yeah well that is stupid for one thing. They take for furni again stupid. Im saying they are stupid, because i dont class this 'Noob' as applying to someone new to the hotel. I class it as someone whos actions are stupid, thoughtless, and selfish without any common sense. Could you think of a better description for a scammer?

Yep, i know a few, they do it becuse they find it funny people are sad enogh to cair about loosing a few pixles, was roghly the opinon. plus they get free stuff, temporaily (he gets baned ofetn, athogh now has taken to speding it out over a serises of clones)


Anyway how do you accidntly type your password, i dont realy have any simplathy to those who get scamed, if there stupid enogh to give out there passowrd or cahneg there email in my opinon they deserve it.

Well, I suppose we will differ. I dont think people deserve to be hacked. Yeah in the end its jsut pixel furniture, but someone has still spent money on that furniture. Its the same as theft, Just last week i got my wallet stolen in a club and its just. Evil and unfair.
