They dont lack common snecs and arnt stupid. its stupidy of others that allows teh to scam, they themslevs must be smart enogh to pull it off. Yes ist a thoughless action, if i get scamed, im not going top balem habbo, if your scamed its your falt. peoples have trye, but u can see threw them with simple logic. Anyway If you get scamed by a good scammer you will never know you were scamed at all. some of ther ideas are pretty clever. but scames liek gestting your password are just simple trciks that in most places woulnt have a hope of working? if you cant secure a passoword how do u hope to survie in teh real world?

n00b. Yes, everyone's favorite insult. But, why? What does it actually mean? Most everyone agrees that it means someone that acts stupid, as it is derived from the term "Newbie" which denotes someone that is new to a site.

So, would a scammer be considered a n00b? Most assuredly not. They are far from it. Most scammers have some working knowledge of the hotel, they know how to get the information they need from people, and they are good at what they do. Some scammers are so involved in their scams that they actually even set up flashsites mimicing the habbo log-in applet. Very clever in it's own right.

So, anyone that would call a scammer a n00b is a stupid person, and is vastly under estimating them.

Next is one of my favorite stupid phrases, "I have been hacked!" No, you have not been hacked. You did one of several very stupid things.

    • You gave out the email address your habbo account is registered with.
    • You downloaded a program for "free credits" or maybe a "dice rigger" to cheat on Habbo yourself.
    • You went to a link outside of www.habbohotel.co.uk/.com/.com.au (Or whichever Hotel you use.)and fell for a fake log-in site.

Think about what you are saying. Do you think someone that has the skills needed to actually hack into your computer would waste their time on pixelated habbo credits when there is so much money that could be stolen? If your answer yes, then you are a stupid person.

Habbo Trading. I am sitting in my trade shop on Habbo and a stupid person asks me what I want for my throne. There are several things wrong with this scenario from the begining.

    • The description of my shop clearly states read the stickies.
    • The sticky tells how much I want for my throne.

I tell them to read the sticky, then a little while later I get a reply similar to, "OMG U R A SCAMMER." Now, why am I a scammer by asking 25 HC sofas for my throne? Why am I a scammer for asking for 10 Creds of furniture for a Holodice? THe only response I can ever get is because that isn't worth that much, which I reply, "To me it is." Of course, this makes them "LOL" and tell me I will never sell it. Which is exactly why it is 25 HC Sofas in the first place.

Anyone that would call someone a scammer for wanting to evoke capitalism in Habbo is a stupid person.

And my favorite group of stupid people are people that get scammed. If you get scammed you HAVE done one of the following (VERY few exceptions).

    • Downloaded a keylogger.
    • Gave your password to someone.
    • Gave your personal email address to someone.
    • Clicked Agree on the trade box too quickly.
    • Gambled at a casino.
    • Fell for a fake log-in site.

If you do not have the brains to keep yourself from being scammed by one of these OBVIOUS scams, you are a stupid person.

Getting Banned. If you have been banned on habbo, you did something wrong. I was banned once on habbo, for flooding. I did it, I own it. It was a 2 hour ban and I have not been banned since. I do not understand how people can do something wrong, get banned, then be mad at Habbo and the Hobba that banned them.

    Don't want to be banned?

    • Don't swear.
    • Don't flood.
    • Don't script.
    • Don't scam.
    • Don't harass others.
    • Don't give out your personal details.

    It's that simple. 6 things.

And anyone that gets a PERM ban is even more stupid for complaining about it. (Or even TELLING anyone about it for that matter.) If you were Perm Banned, you were banned by a Staff member, and not just some Hobba. Perm bans are not given out lightly and to get one you have to either do something VERY wrong, or have a history of doing the same thing over and over again.

My last one will be for those members of this forum that will not read this far into my post and will actually reply (Yes I am foretelling the future here) "That was way too long, I ain't even going to read that." If you aren't going to read a post, why would you even type that out? Some jerk like me may actually be laughing at you before you even type it, knowing how much of an idiot you are in advance.

Well, that about does it for this bit..

    X
    :eusa_clap

    hell yeah you are right
i also got banned for flooding
    but hey its life
i never went round saying "look i got banned, pleas edont do iut again mr hobba"
anyways i also did read all what you have said

I do agree that nobody should touch it...
Leaving your engine on and doors open on your car, then somebody coming along and driving it away, IS classed as stealing...
On the other hand though somebody said
Its like giving them your car keys and showing them to your car
That wouldnt be classed as 'stealing' because you 'GAVE' them your car keys, this means you gave them permission to do whatever they want with them, and if they want to drive the car that the keys belong to, they are entitled to do so...

I still think stealing is wrong though, nobody should steal, and the thing is, people on habbo jump at the chance when they see another habbo saying there own password out... I may never have stopped anyone from getting scammed, but i try to tell people and get the message across about scams, unfortunately some people don't listen, but they choose not to, so we can't force them to, as it is there choice, not ours, and if they want to give away their habbo to a stranger, we cannot call them stupid for it, as they are entitled to do whatever they want with their habbo

    Here here,

Teach La-ur-en the n00b a lesson. If you give your password to someone, no one should show pity as you are so stuid enough to give it awat, especially for 'free credits' and 'free rares etc'. If you have been hacked by downloading a 'magic tool' then you must be stupid!

If you give out your password. I have no simpaty for you, and if i did, i woulnt exspect any, giveing oput your passowed is just stupidlty.
If you downlaod a habbo tool and get keyloges, i have even less simathy as you rather than just getting it for stupidty, get it a punsimnt for trying to scam of cheet themesvles.

    1. Habbo Hotel is not life.
    2. Habbo Furni does not exist.

    5. Your Password is YOUR password!!!
    6. LOG IN TO SODDING HABBO, NOT ANOTHER SITE!!!!

Yes, thats what i said, people gave them their password, which means the scammer can do whatever he wants with that peice of information... That's why afterwards i said 'I still don't agree with stealing'

I have no sympathy for anyone who gives out there password either, but i don't think they are stupid, they did a mistake, everyone on this earth is entitled to mistakes...

To be honest, i think people who 'scam' are 'idiotic' as they are stealing something that will never be worth anything. The fact still remains that they are stealing something that was worth something to someone, but if another habbo gets scammed, it was there decision, they may not have picked that decision, but it was their fault, and they can learn from there mistakes...
I got scammed ages ago (it wasn't a big scam though) somebody said to me 'I still have iones throne in a present' and i said 'cool, i have got the holo-girl' and so we traded, and when i opened it, it was a duck...
I learnt from my mistake though, and i never got scammed again...

There is a diffrence between 'getting scammed' and 'losing you car' though, 'cause the average habbo only spends about £50 on habbo, and a car is worth something like i dont know, say £4000 (average) so you are losing alot more! and also, you can trade a car in for money, but you cant trade in habbo furni!
