Creating a login script and....

I need help creating a log-in script/register script and then make the browser remeber who its logged in people keep the same name when talking in DIFFERENT javascript boxes (a bit like a shoutbox)

I want to do this because I am starting an online mafia text RPG. (BTW for n00bs, that isn't a habbo rip-off) and I need a chat element for different places in my city.

Nah, Its a role-playing-game, strickly role-play, no 'leveling up' or such. You could achieve what I wanted to achieve with a forum but, it doesn't really have the same feeling.

Writing an RPG isn't hard. I can just go forum based.
