They are copyrighted
In Australia and in Uk (Not sure about other countries) copyright is automatic
as soon as something is made it is copyrighted to the maker. THere is no official registration or anything its compeltely automatic
Eg.
When a poem is written it is automatically a copyright of the composer

How would you like it if someone stole images from you that you have spent alot of time on and sold them? Its called breaking the law I hope it happens to you.
