Default viNce ;; for or against labelling? <3

Personally, i'm against labelling. Everybody is the same, as we're all the same species, human. I not so against the labelling of gay/lesbian/bi as they're understandable.

But as for "emo/chav/goth" I'm against, emo? Wth, where did that come from? You're only emotional and rather stupid for trying to end your own life, self posessed and dont care about anybody but yourself.

Chavs; I'm not up for labelling, as they have their own style. Deal with it, where I come from liverpool, we have alot of anti socialism but you have to learn to get on with it, i've got alot of older friends, some up to 18 because they're not bad. You shouldn't label chav's because they do what they do, who's to say you're perfect? I bet you're very imperfect.

Goths; I dont even hesitate to ask where these came from, all that it is is wearing black/dark purple/red clothing, having white makeup, drawing black eyeliner around the eyes etc, listening to punk rock, whatever but I dont see why they call themselves goths as the word was just brought out of the open.

    Post your opinions.

Thats true. Although FULLY steriotyping is stupid, there are ways it comes in handy. To put it this way: people express themselves using clothes, so doesnt that mean you can tell a few things about them with what they are wearing?

I agree with you that its dumb in general, but honestly, it does come in handy in a few ways. You cant see the person's personallity by what they wear, but there might be a few hints on what they are into.

HOWEVER, the one thing I CANT STAND is people who steriotype themselves. If you call yourself goth, punk, emo or whatever, in my mind, you are a loser.

Indeed, It someones clothing can give a good idea about em, to whether there a crowed follower, such as most who follow steriotypes "/
I mean most of em aint rebelling there just copying others as they have no will of there own. showing they have low self confiance and weak will power for exsample

Im just saying that COMPLETE steriotyping is bad, as in thinking you know everything about a person just by looking at them. But you can always see a few things.

I think labelling yourself is lame. But I also think certain label hating is plain BS. Oh let me go hate on an emo, Oh let me just go hate on a chav whatever.. It doesn't matter what 'clique' people fit into as long as they're cool.
