The only way I would see this selling is if Nintendo sold this 3 quarters cheaper than the current DS, no point selling for more, or either the same price as the current.
I prefere the old one.
The touch screen should be flat, not sticking out, it looks plain, revolting..

[OH MY.. I MAY BE BACK.]
At the end of the day, the weight isn't a key issue, the looks are for most people, though it looks better but still doesn't match the PSP.
The DS, is overall around the same graphics and has many more game features.
HOWEVER, a few things they should do
- BRIGHER SCREEN
- As they use cards the sound sucks in quality (Sort that out maybe?)
Haven't updated this in around a year, so now i have
Funny you should mention a brighter screen - that's one of the new features. It's now got 4 backlight options, similar to the PSP.
To all the people saying give up on the DS; it's Nintendo's most successful console. Japan is crazy about it and if you take a look at the weekly charts, normally 6 or 7 of the games in the top 10 are on the DS.
aye those japs are crazy for nintendo stuff me personally im going for a psp but i still like the look of the ds
