at my old school, this used to be my uniform conduct:
SKIRT - Plain bottle-green (this must be between the knee and mid-calf in length)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    SWEATSHIRT - Bottle-green - incorporating school logo.
    JUMPER - Plain bottle-green, long-sleeved, V-necked
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    BLOUSE - Regulation cream-coloured (long or short-sleeved)
In summer only: regulation open-necked cream-coloured, short-sleeved. (In order to avoid variation in style and colour parents are requested to purchase shirt blouses only from the official stockists. These, or an exact replica of these, are the only blouses permitted).
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TIE - Regulation tie to be worn except with the open-necked summer blouse.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SOCKS - Autumn half term to end of Spring term: Plain, bottle-green under knee socks or bottle-green tights.
Summer term to Autumn half term: Short white socks or natural coloured tights may be worn as an alternative to the above.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SHOES - Low-heeled brown or black. Platform soled shoes and sling-backs should not be worn.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
COAT - Navy blue or cream or green preferably.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    P.E.
All items of P.E. kit must be fully named. This is important. Additional labelling as shown below
    Essential items
Bottle-green games skirt embroidered with two inches high yellow initials at the bottom, where they can be seen
Yellow P.E. blouse embroidered with two inches high green initials on top left hand side
    Bottle-green pants
Black leotard embroidered with two inches high yellow initials at the bottom
    Plain black cycling shorts
    Bottle-green sweatshirt incorporating school logo
Plain, bottle-green under-knee hockey socks (hockey and football)
White sports socks (netball and summer activities)
Plimsolls or training shoes for hardcourt and astroturf
    Shin pads (hockey and football)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Optional extras
Plain bottle-green or black track suit or jogging bottoms
Gum shield for hockey (an advisable precaution)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JEWELLERY- This is not part of school uniform and MUST NOT BE WORN. Girls with pierced ears may wear one pair of plain ear "studs" - which must be removed for P.E.
Other studs including nose and tongue studs are not permitted.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HAIR - 'Cult' hairstyles are not acceptable and long hair must be tied back for P.E.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are pleased to sell out-grown uniform and a wide selection of garments is available from the Pupil Enquiries Office.
