If you don't have a girlfriend or anyone to 'valentines' then it can be a bit depressing. For that I hate it. Seeing everyone walk around with roses, cards and all happy.

But if you have a girlfriend and you are doing something nice, it's great. = )

If you can afford it everyday of the year, go for it. Valentines is just about showing them you really do care, taking the time to actually show them on that day rather than fumbling about on a normal day.
