Err.. Silly Baving, a Xbox 360 isn't a computer really.. It is more of a console.

Have you set up a Home Network on your PC? This will allow you Xbox to be issued it's own IP address - if you haven't then that's why it's not working

It does, you just have to fork out £55 for a wireless network adapter.
