Ive actually had the same problem like a month ago. So what happened is we talked over msn and found out that we both really liekd each other but were to shy to like have a fat convo at lunch ect. So we met just after school when everyone had gone and since then well. We can talk more freeely and shes kissed me ^^ Just tell her your feelings over msn and ask if you wanna meet after school for a few minutes

Anyway, I think it's unfair for your friends to say you 'just can't' flirt or whatever, as it's not like a hobby you practice, but of course you will get better at it the more you do. By flirting, don't go up and slap her on the back side or anything, otherwise you'll end up getting the jail , but just make comments...

You say you talk to her on msn, so you could maybe just really get talking to her, and ask her if shes liking anyone at the moment or that, and just make sly little comments to sort of let her know you like her, and you should be able to tell if she likes you back. Compliment her also, tell her she looked good today at school or something, and just try and get chatting to her more often! :p
