    Default Toy Guns?

Okay, so recently i was talking to my pals, and one said to me 'i tottally disagree with children playing with guns, it teaches them violence, and that possesion of a gun is OK' i don't agree with this, as just because children play with toy guns, does not mean that they will be brought up to think it is correct... I then asked them 'what about plastic cowboy guns?' and she said 'what did cowboys do? shoot the red indians out of their country to make space for there own people' THIS IS TOTALLY UNTRUE! Cowboys rode on horses and shot there guns in the air to round up the cows, and also, it was the government who run the red indians out of their country!
Also, just because you let them play with fake ones, doesn't mean they will grow up thinking they are OK to handle, as possesion of a real gun is diffrent, obviously parents teach there children not to play with toy guns, but you've gotta let kids be kids, you can't keep them locked away from the badness in this earth forever!!!
Anyway, thats all i've gotta say, what are your views?

I think toy guns are fine, because who doesnt pretend to be James Bond once in awhile. Aslong as they're not like the super realistic ones, and the kids don't have the midset of shooting certain people then yeah fine by me. I wasn't allowed to have toy guns when i was little either...

Lmao! I agree. Can't beat the old "I'm James Bond" phase everyone goes through

As long as they ain't BB guns, or something that could hurt/blind people then thats fine. The Power Ranger one my cousin has just lights up and makes a bang sound, they are ok. If it shot something at me I'd be tempted to run over and make him eat it

playing inside is ok, but out on the street, the police might shoot you with a real gun if they think you re a threat to the public.

How do you define a "super realistic one" They all have a trigger, and alot fo them shoot out little nerf things, it simulates a real gun. Still, when I was little, I loved toy guns, but more then a few kids become obsessed with guns  and that isn't good.
