    Default Simultaneous Equations

    I know the answer, but I need the working out for the following:

    3V-2=-4W and W=4V-28

    Thanks

    2 = 4W + 3V 112=19V
    -112 = 4W - 16V 6=V

    So W = -4

    ok I arranged your equations and made them have the same "factor"

    so I changed from your 3v-2 = 4W to 2 = 4W+3v (1)

    I did the same with your other equation: w= 4v-28 to -112=4w-16V (2)

    Notice the 4ws are the same

    So all you ahve to do now is (1)-(2)

    which leads to 114=19V so v = 6

    Replace v=6 to any equation and u get w=-4
