rap is good but some things rappers talk about is pointless. such as goldie lokin chain, their songs are usually pointless. The best rap comes from eminem, if you read his lyrics you can see the message. Try reading the lyrics from Mosh and you will see what a good artist he is.

I think some rap is **** but lots of it is good. For instance Eminems new songs Mockingbird and Like Toy Soldiers are telling us what its like being a dad and such an influential rapper.

Plus clasical music was aimed at audinces a few hundered years ago (im guesing at dates) while raps is aimed at modern audances, in a few 100 years i doubt rap with have the saem influnces as styles change. Oviosly today rap is more inflental, but it doesnt mean classicl wasnt inflental. wich is teh point im trying to make?

Well, alot of modern day rap says: "let's kill em all, calls blacks the N word, and degrades women :rolleyes: "

Both types could be considered rude and obnoxious, but classical rarely directly insults and degrades members of our society.
I don't like rap that much, and although some sends a good message, a overwhelming amounts use hate as the theme behind the music.
