Tech VS Pixels Web Layout Also CC Logo

Ok yesterday craigg (damosdesigns.com) said he was in the mood for making
a layout, and I said so was I so here ismy finished product.
What i did was take a bit of everything I liked and combined it; which
led me to tech vs pixel.
It probaly isnt the best layout but I just want to prove a few things
which will benefit others. Im not the best designer nor the worst but I
may have some knowledge of designing you may not know. Getting to the
point I just want to stress a few things:
When you read a tutorial from the web about making a piece of art, ok you
want to make whats in the tutorial but the key thing what the tutorial
writer wants to achieve is for you to learn something and not just make
the 'finished product' so thats mainly what I have to stress, this is no
tutorial but I just though id let you know.
I recently saw on this forum people making these kind of layouts, tech
layouts with the side borders etc. But getting carried away with the emboss
and shadow so i though let me have a try to prove if im not a hippocrit
so when I started i decided to make it I didnt want it to be the same as everything
else I wanted it to have a lil bit of everything.
The one thing I like about craigg. is that he has own sexi pixel style
and he presents his work neat and in a fashionable way. So i nagged him
for the name of the font and decided to add a bit of his style to my work
I looked at a few sites and then had the idea and came up with this:

Not small but big and is quite cool imo. the only slight critiscm about
it imo is that it 'might be too dark' or not enough use of colors, and aybe
some of you may notlike it at all :p also the logo is just a test and wouldnt
be on the layout. I would replace it with a more suitable one,

Well im new to logos and id thought id try another one going proffesional
and clean, for my new project called chung corp. i actually really
quite like it and i would love to hear ur opinions on it, and
btw craig your technique or design and cleaness inspired me
anyway i would like to see what you think about it

Thank's for the mentioning of my name, and I'm glad thatI am an insperation to someone. Looking back over the image, it looks fairly simple to code, It may take me a day, but It looks fairly simple to do.

The logo is nice, except it looks a bit, Fat? in a way. Overall, you are improving rapidly, and with great ease. Its a loverly template, and I personally love the banner, Unique, yet it's nice and appealing. In a way, It does look a little distorted with the grey parts at the bottom of the banner. But I suppose it is an overall nice website.
