Avartar problems.

Hey, I've just recenetly joined.
I can make my own avartars, but most people who have have the same type of avartars.
EG, they have writing going vertical saying eg John < in flashing colors and loads of people have that and they have there have there habbo with a backround. But what I'm trying to say is how do they mangage to make these ? They look all made the same way, is there a site or something or something everyone makes them on?
