Sound like it hurts! Dont have that here, thank god!
Im not really afraid of needles. Although last time when I got my tetnis needle [after slicing my finger in a cooking incident...] I couldnt move my arm for 3 days.
As a result I didnt have to get a combo needle at school,Seeing my friends walking around with dead arms and not being able to punch me. :eusa_danc Priceless:eusa_danc

The TB jab is nothing to worry about and gives you LIFELONG protection against Tuberculosis, which is still present in the UK.
One of my friends had the 6-needle-stamp and it stayed, which meant she was immune to TB, but they gave her the TB jab anyway!
You get a nice scar from the TB jab, and it doesn't take more than 2 seconds to receive it.![]()

There's nothing terrible about the TB jab. I dreaded it, but then it was ok. It felt rather like a bee sting, and itdidn't hurt much afterwards. Just don't let anyone touch yoyr arm, because that's what hurts, even weeks afterwards. I think my scar's faded thoiugh now, I had it last year. But TB is the worst jab you're ever going to have to have at school or something, so it's not really that terrible. Don't worry about it, and don't look at the needle.
BE ALERT! ...The world needs more lerts
jeez, you lot sound like you had it good!! i got the rubbish nurse who obviously knew nothing about injections for my heaf test AND my BCG. after my heaf test i actually couldnt move my arm and my actual bcg was so painful. i had to go to the doctor and have antibiotics because it was full of pus and incredibly painful and a year on i still have the scar and it looks pretty minging [see below]
blocked out school name for obvious reasons.
and btw im not trying to put you off deliberatly!! im sure you will get a trained nurse!!
Woof.
I had the 6 needles, the mark went away so I had to have the jab.
That was last year or maybe 2 years ago, and I still have the mark where the jab was.
