Speeches =[ Need a Good Topic!

My school has anual speeches where everyone has to do a speech <.< What good topics do you think would attract a crowd and have good base facts that I could work off of?

So far, I have Smoking and Poverty. I need something I can talk about for 3-5 minutes so yea. I'm probably doing smoking but I still need something for back up just in case So if you have any ideas, I appreciate them very much I offer +Rep to anyone who helps
