I think that is an overexaguration. Police would probably notice the difference between a real gun and a toy gun.

In fact, everyone should notice the difference between a toy gun and a real gun :S
    People who deserve a mention:

I would add more, but I'm lazy.

Well exactly, its like barbie, she should be banned because it shows her privates when children undress them, but no... showing 3 year old children what the female body looks like is okay, but playing with a plastic gun, is like a crime :s

anyway i was never allowed to have toy guns as a child,

all my friends were and now thier fave games is stuff like counter strike and so on and i dont really like em so maybe it does effect how they grow up ...
lol maybe then we can get bin larden and bush sorted out ha ha...
actually im for and against it... if you look at this way; guns are sold (fake ones)
to children for money. This marketing purpose can be good and/ or bad
guns can also introduce other things like violent games such as "HALO 2"
(one of my personal favourites) and paintballing - dangerous
, however guns can be used to please children to get them off their parents backs and it changes the way they grow up.
heres an example = a boy gets a plastic gun for his bday, he then acknowleges his frends have some, becomes cool and has a good life.
if he was banned from guns then he might turn out to be an unpopular nerd, or a gay person that gets picked on- resulting in a bad life.

i think fake guns are totally fine, when i was little i bought a lifesize rifle from disney world, come on, if disney world sells them, its gotta be ok lol...at least thats my opinion. I have to say, fake guns really improve my aiming/ect. I can beat a grown man at carnival cork gun games especially the moving ones, very degrating for the guy of course. My uncle lets me use his cross bow and his guns too (hes a hunter) and my dad lets me use his paintball gun, i painted the chickin coop in my back yard with it ^^ its pretty!

I've never really took guns into consideration but i guess that it won't hurt if little children play with them, i mean, unless your parents were really not bothered about you, then there's no chance of you getting hold of a real gun. Only in rare circumstances

Um, La-ur-en, have you got a problem with the world? All you do is moan about pointless things, espepcially that n00b topic which you created which indeed shows you are a n00b.

Toy guns are nothing, children are growing up with all kinds of dangerous things so what, they grow up to learn everything they need to know. Not all children will grow up to be maniacs/
