I dont know how you keep dieing. What level are you? I did it at level 67 (i think) with no armour, just 4 death runes and 12 air runes. Question: Can you make any Rune with Pure Essence? Or is that the one which only lets you make elementals and stuff.

Ya that happened to me, i had 4 items (d hally, gmaul, some cape and d sheild) i put prtect items and i lose the gmaul nothing else. takes the ****
