I've been very angry at myself alot recently and usually I vent this anger at myself with my trusty penknife. Recently i've been doing it because i've been making a girl I really care about feel bad because of my shyness and lack of confidence (long story).
Whilst playing football earlier, not only did I get hat hair but a friend of mine found out and told this girl and now she's threatening to cut herself every time I do it, which has made me feel even worse. I do really care about her and don't want her to do that but I have no other way to vent my anger without serious destruction to my arm, knuckles or my possesions in my bedroom.
So yeah, any ideas?

Take up drums... trust me it may sound silly but it sure worked for me...wenever your stressed you can jus go bang about on the drum kit... its great and you get goals aswell so it takes your mind of the bad things in life.
ive been playin for a year now and even tho im a girl im actually quite good!!! lol

I was really depressed recently and nearly started self harming, but then I realized that it wouldn't help my problems get any better at school, and I tried to find some healthier ways to vent my frustration. I found playing my flute quite effective relief, especially the loud horrible high notes. I've also found out that drums a very good way of making you feel better about things. You could try something like that, and if you don't play an instrument see if anyone in the house has a guitar or something, because any instrument, even if you can't play it, can help, and if you try something like that teahcing yourself someting new then you're also going to be thinking about something else. If you don't fancy music, why not take up a new sport. Trampolining is aother good way of letting out anger. Thye do lessons of that at most leisure centres. Also,m whoever said 'I'm good at drums even though i'M A GIRL' so? Whio says that female druimmers can't be as good as male ones? Some of the best ddrummers I know are female.
