Default British Women's Voices to Take Over The Computer Voice

Has anyone else noticed, British women's voices are used ALOT of the time on TV shows including a 'Robot Computer Voice' or whatever, or is this just me?

Apparently, you are more likely to trust womens voices. They use them for SatNav's too. English accents are also clear and easy to understand
