My Mother's Day Poem

Yea, I wrote something for my mom on Mother's Day so I thought I'd post it on here

Your sacrifice, your generousity and your neverending love,
Something more valuable than that is something I cannot think of.

I see you working hard for me and I wonder what it means,
Whether I will do the same and give up my own dreams.

You've done all these things for me without wanting anything in return,
Your prescence is always there with me as much as your love, your trust, and your concern.

I know that you'll be there for me; my future, my present, my past,
When I'm with you, I feel a special bond; a bond that will always last.

I'm fortunate that I was born to such a nurturing and caring person like you,
I appreceate you not only as a mom, but for who you are and what you do.

But I have no diamonds and no rubies, as I'm sure you're well aware,
So I'll give you gifts far more precious; my dedication, my love, and my care.

My mom got teary-eyed when she read it
