but u dont religious to believe in heaven in my eyes
I believe religion provides some individuals with reassurance of their actions. Without a set of rule for them, they'd be completely lost, however, religion changes that.
For people that believe in heaven and not religion, I believe they want freedom from following rules, but still have some assurance that they'll have a good afterlife. Kind of hypocritical, but to each their own.

I believe in heaven and GodI'm a muslim.
They say that when a mother dies after giving birth or their baby dies, when the mother/the child goes to heaven their mum/child will be there waiting outside the gates.
nice way of thinkin of it
Haveing a reason to want there to be a hevern, how ever good, will never make it so "/
As gommeinc put it, religion is simply a sorce of comfort, although admittedly its more a sorce of abuseing the want for that comfort than anything else "/
"A good person doesn't need religion to do good. But it takes religion to make a good person do bad things."
Personally id much rather simply end, than go to heaven given the choice "/
well if ur mum died u wuld hope to be able to see her agen , religion isnt the part of thinkin
We use religion to numb and pleasure ourselves. It's things like these which we use to attempt to bring us closer to this state of perfection to make us happy, these things that we believe bring us closer to "god", that liberates us but in reality does nothing but make us numb, inebriate us and make us more and more mechanical. Where in order to survive and function a "fuel" is needed; have the assurance that there's a higher power that makes you better than everyone else or at least being perfect to just look like you are, all to make life seemingly worth living.
But this contentment instead makes us automatons in need of another "hit" in order to survive. So we use these methods and crutches to try to reach this perfect intangible state being but instead bring us further and further away from it because these things are a synthetic and induced happiness, as well as completely temporary, where the constant need for them makes us more like soulless machines.
