Question Valedictory Speech COMPLETED! Please tell me if it's good :) >>> +Rep

Yay I finished Please tell me if it's good or not It might be a big long but it's not that long ;P Enjoy!

Graduating students of 2006, parents, relatives, and staff of St. Vincent de Paul. Good Evening. There has always been one thing that I have looked forward to as I grew older, and it was graduating from this school. I envisioned myself, going to high school, getting a girlfriend, learning how to drive a car; all those things teenagers feel the urge to do. Now, as I look back to all my years of attending this school and all my years of wanting and pleading to leave, I regret it. I have been wasting my time looking forward to memories that I would make in high school and university, and it has only been recently that I have realized that my history, my roots, both good and bad, lie here in this very school, St. Vincent de Paul.

We, the graduating class of 2006, have left a mark here on St. Vincent de Paul, along with all the previous graduating classes before. We were the ones who kept peace inside the schoolyard. We were the ones who acted as a role model for all the younger grades. We were the ones who have left so many marks on this school. But now, it is our time to spread our wings and go off as a new chapter unfolds in our lives. Fortunately, we are not leaving this school empty handed. We are leaving with great relationships and many valuable lessons. From learning how to cut a perfect circle, learning our times tables, learning to get a long with each other, learning what we should and shouldn’t do, and many more lessons that each and everyone of us will keep for the rest of our lives.

Regardless of what school we all have attended, we have had so many memorable moments that none of us wish to forget. From taking your first step to Junior Kindergarten, making your first friend, getting in trouble for a stupid joke, being shouted at by a teacher, all of these are memories that each and every one of us have locked up inside our minds. And now, as we are all here today, we all look around at each other. We all realize that this is an ending to one of the time periods that some consider the best times we will ever have in a lifetime. Our class over the years has gone through trial and errors with relationships and events that may have shattered our unity but all of this has led to where we are today. People in our lives have left, but other people who we call friends today have also entered. Life here in St. Vincent de Paul has taught not only I, but also all of us in such a way that I could not imagine anything else but.

My years here in St. Vincent de Paul have done something to me that may take a whole lifetime for some. This class has become a second family to me, and knowing the fact that I will not get to see the people that I have been seeing everyday for the past 10 years of my life makes me question if there is any another way. We must thank God, our families, our friends, and our teachers, who have guided us through this long journey. But this is not yet the end. As this chapter ends, we all prepare for a new beginning unaware of what new changes will go on during our lives. Several questions may run through our minds. What do we do next? What’s going to happen to me? Although we do not know the answers to these complicated questions, we must trust in God to help us and guide us during times where we need Him the most. I cannot help but express joy and pride in being a member of this class knowing that the future holds limitless possibilities for all of us. Although we may grow up to be someone totally different from who we are today, no matter what, we all have history and roots that will forever lie here in this school, St. Vincent de Paul.
