They may be looking for more staff for that department, just because they are advertising a job dosen't mean the staff member who currently has that position is leaving or what ever...
Also Al is a ''marketing bloke'' and they are looking for a ''Regional Marketing Manager'' hense the manager and regional.(ﾟДﾟ≡ﾟДﾟ)

Not pointless, he found information on a forum, thought about ukchaserAl, asumed that it he could be leaving, decided to make a thread on it. Is that so damn bad?
