Is it right to fight?

If someone attacks you and hits you...is it only right to retaliate and fight back?

I got the day off school today for fighting. As an exclusion because someone hit me so I kept hitting him back.

All the teachers say 'If he did it first, go tell a teacher' but thats BS. When they were younger, and someone hit them, would they go and tell someone?

Or as I did once ridicule them by standing there smiling making him look like a fool whilst he kicks you repeatedly. But before I did that to him I reversed a few things he tried doing on mine and kicked him full on twice. What I did not only hurt him as he walked around injured but also made most of the school laugh about him.

Yah, that happened to me once, annoyed me but i dont like to listen to teachers they talk a load of BS so when ever someone comes hits me i just continously hit them back. .
