Firstly if you do that with freewebs they can shut your site down because you are copying there layouts Also IF dosent let you add mods because you can upload the files on IPB the real version does. Also freewebs i one of the most boring site builders around and the content isnt much either... Also greg you said suggest a better FREE way to make a site?? HTML!!!!

freewbes is a pretty bad host slow, etc. But no one critises a site for usieng it, it just a freewebs layouts that people hate, you cant exspct any prase for a layout that they didnt make, freewebs didnt even make them considering they just broght a few and now use them. Using a freewebs layout means you get 0 for design as there was NONE. AThogh people can still give prase to content.

I used if for quite a while cuz it was free, true its pretty limitred, but the mods in javascript are pretty imprsive, fopr what they could actaly do. Athogh its true you could do with a skin for it.

If its your fist try, you shoudl wnat morew critism not less. Otherwize how can you impove. Listen to what people have to say, and ajust accoridngly. If you just ignoir cristism its not realy going to get any better. Critsims a good thing in my opion, if you think critism is bullying and you dont want it, then your going to do one hell of alot worse than someone who actaly listnes and learns.
