This is my first real tutorial/GFX based site. Im happy with the outcome but can adjust it to suit the needs of my client.

Hmm... Im not sure, It's a bit plain, I think you should add a bit more detail like nav links, banner text and content headers and the content. It will give us a bit more information about the template, it just looks like a few boxes at the moment.
