Well... My brother saw my display picture today... and it says "Bi -- Not confused" and my family doesn't know... How do I tell them?

Well, if your 100% sure your bi, then sit your parents down and just tell them... or, if your not ready, just speak to your brother i'm sure he won't tell them, and if he's threatning to.. just tell him you'll talk to them when your ready.. but don't rush it, it can be a big thing telling your parents.

yes, either clarissa or craig's suggestions would suffice if you're not ready to come out yet.

I don't see the big commotion (sp). All it is is a sexuality. No need to get childish about it...

It depend's how old your brother is really...

If he's old I'm sure he'll understand and be mature enough to respect your wishes, whereas if he is young he might not fully understand it and you could probably manipulate the situation to make out as if it was a joke you were saying to one of your friend's to wind them up or something. If worst comes to worst and he tells your parents - you deny it - end of.

If you don't want any of your family to know, Just tell your brother -
    1. It was a joke that your friends find funny
    2. Craigs suggestion
    3. Tricking someone into thinking you were bi

    etc..

yeah, if your brother is old enough to understand then it should be fine if you dont want to tell your parents. he should be ok with not telling them.

but as lots of people have said, it would be very easy to pretend it meant something else, or that it was a joke.

BTW did he comment on your DP? or do you just think he saw it?
